God's simple orchestrations

I had an amazing experience yesterday, thanks to God - and my church and my boyfriend.

At church, God orchestrated an event bringing a new friend into the life of my boyfriend and I.  He brought us a strong Christian reggae musician, in town from Europe.  He speaks French (I get to practice French!), and is in town for 3 weeks.  Last night, L invited him over for dinner and to lend a guitar to him.

The fellowship and conversation was phenomenal.  He is incredibly knowledgeable about God and the bible, he is a great resource and I'm very excited because he's going to come for 2 weeks to our small group.  I think he'll be a great addition while he's here.

But then.... THEN.... he got out the guitar and played for us.  It was.... my cheeks hurt from smiling so much.  We had the patio door open, with a beautiful spring breeze coming in, and we got our own personal acoustic concert.  His music, his voice, the guitar sound, watching his fingers on the strings.... I felt so incredibly blessed.

I'm excited about the upcoming small group.  My second ever!  I'm a little nervous - feel unprepared, with a lack of knowledge.  Kind of like the last time.  I haven't studied the bible enough, I haven't learned it enough, I can't recall it well enough.  But, how else do you get there except through fellowship and small groups!?

Sometimes you aren't ready, but God puts an opportunity in front of you and the desire in your heart and you just have to jump!
